How customers choose

What people check before they let you near the switchboard.

Electrical work is the job homeowners are most nervous about. They search for the fault, then check the person.

  • "electrician near me" after the power goes out

Half the house is dark and the safety switch keeps tripping. They want a number they can tap and a sign you take urgent calls.

  • "switchboard upgrade" or "old fuse box"

A planned job, often after a sale or an insurance letter. They compare two or three electricians and look for a clear way you price it.

  • "EV charger installation"

A new kind of job with a car parked out the back. They want to see you have done it and what the install involves.

  • "licensed electrician" and the licence number

Many people ask for the number before they book. If it is on your site, they don't have to ask.

The gaps

When the builder isn't ready, the week has holes.

Each of these costs a sparky a job, and none of them is about the quality of your work.

  • Thursday, empty

The builder isn't ready for fit-off, so Thursday afternoon is free. Your regulars are booked for next month, and the homeowner two suburbs over who wants downlights can't see you could start.

  • Rung out at dinner

The safety switch trips while the family is eating. They ring you while you're at the kids' footy training, it rings out, and they try the next sparky on the list.

  • A search for a switchboard upgrade

Someone types "switchboard upgrade" and their suburb and gets two bigger outfits and a quote directory. Without a page for that job in that suburb, Google shows them instead of you.

  • Real sparky or handyman?

Homeowners can't tell a licensed sparky from a handyman with a multimeter. If your licence number is only on the van, nothing online shows you're the real thing.

What's included

What a homeowner finds when the power's off.

Your licence first, then one tap to ring you, or a quote request with a photo of the board.

One tap to ring you
The call button stays in reach on every screen. When half the house is dark and their phone is on 20%, nobody has to hunt for your number.
Quote requests with a switchboard photo
A photo of the board or the fault tells you if it's a quick swap or a site visit before you ring back. Requests come to your phone, and bots and spam are blocked.
A page for each job you want
Switchboard upgrades, safety switches, rewires, extra points and downlights, EV chargers, and solar and batteries if you hold solar accreditation. Each page is written for what people type, and says how you quote it.
Your suburbs, by name
Up to 3 suburb pages (8 on Growth) for the places you'll drive to, matched to your Google Business Profile, so a search like "electrician Werribee" has something of yours to find.
Licence, certificate and reviews on show
Your licence and contractor numbers sit where a homeowner checks, linked to the public register where your state keeps one. The site can say you issue your state's safety certificate, such as a Certificate of Electrical Safety in Victoria, beside your Google reviews.
After hours, said straight
If you take after-hours calls, the site says when, and what the call-out costs. If you don't, it says so, and the quote form holds the job for the morning.
Service pages

A page for each kind of electrical job.

Homeowners search for the job, not the trade. Each page names one job, says how you price it and has your number at the top.

  • Switchboard upgrades
  • Safety switches and fault finding
  • Rewiring older homes
  • Lighting, inside and out
  • Power points
  • Smoke alarms
  • EV chargers
  • Solar and batteries
  • Ceiling and exhaust fans
Licences by state

Every state licenses electrical work.

Fixed wiring must be done by a licensed electrician, and customers know it. Your site shows them yours. The basics, by state:

Victoria
Energy Safe Victoria licenses electrical workers and runs a public register. After most work the electrician issues a Certificate of Electrical Safety, and some work, such as solar and battery systems, also needs an independent inspection.
New South Wales
A licence is needed for all electrical wiring work, whatever it costs. The electrician lodges a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work after testing.
Queensland
The Electrical Safety Office licenses electricians, and anyone doing electrical work for others as a business also needs an electrical contractor licence. It treats DIY electrical work as unlicensed work, which is illegal.

Your site shows your licence and contractor numbers, linked to the public register where your state has one. It never suggests a customer try a repair themselves.

Sources, checked October 2026: Energy Safe Victoria: electrical workers; Energy Safe Victoria: Certificates of Electrical Safety; Energy Safe Victoria: public register; NSW Fair Trading: electricians; WorkSafe Queensland: electrical contractor licences. FAQ

Questions electricians ask.

Can my contractor licence and my own licence both go on the site?

Yes. Both numbers go in the footer and on the about page, each labelled, and linked to the state register where one exists.

Can the site explain how I price a switchboard job?

Yes. Each job page can say whether it is hourly or a fixed price after a visit. We write what you tell us and never invent a price.

Will the site tell people what to do in an electrical emergency?

Only to stay safe and call: we never write repair steps for electrical faults. Your number sits at the top of every page.

Do solar and battery jobs get their own page?

Yes, if you do them. Each says what the install involves in your area, including the inspection your state requires, without promising rebates or savings figures.

Will this get me work?

We can't promise jobs, a Google ranking or income, and we won't. We can promise that every call and quote request your site brings in reaches you, with the photo, so you judge each one yourself.

Am I locked into a contract?

No, it's month to month. If you leave in March, the site stays live to the end of the period you've paid for, and we export your pages, your switchboard photos and the rest for you to keep.

Do you sell my enquiries or pass them to other sparkies?

No. An enquiry from your site goes to your phone and nobody else's, whether it's a safety switch that keeps tripping or a full rewire in Werribee. You pay no fee per enquiry or per job, only one flat monthly plan.

I use ServiceM8 or Tradify. Does any of that change?

Not at all. The enquiry lands on your phone with the details and the photo, and you key it into your job app as usual. We never log in to it.

My diary's full until February. Should I bother?

Probably not yet. It suits a sparky with gaps to fill, or one who wants EV charger and switchboard work in particular. Bookmark it for the week a builder pushes the fit-off.

Can you show my licence and solar accreditation?

Yes. Your licence number, contractor number and, if you hold it, your solar accreditation go on the site, where homeowners check before they call.
