How customers choose

Building clients research for months.

A renovation or extension is the biggest cheque most households write. They check you more carefully than any other trade.

  • "home extension builder" plus the area

They want finished projects like theirs, and an idea of how a job runs from plans to handover.

  • "renovation builder" and reviews

They read everything: reviews, project pages and the about page. Thin sites lose here.

  • "registered builder" or "licensed builder"

Many check the licence or registration on the state register before they meet you.

  • "knockdown rebuild" or "granny flat"

Specific project types, each searched on its own. A page for each one gets found.

The gaps

A builder's gaps are set months before they arrive.

So are the projects. This is where they go.

  • The gap between frames

Rain holds up the slab and the next frame is weeks away. Your crew needs work, and a couple planning a renovation nearby is already talking to someone else.

  • Your finished projects are hidden

If the kitchen you finished in March and the extension you handed over last spring only sit in a camera roll, a couple choosing a builder can't see them.

  • Checked on licence and contract

Before they meet anyone, people look up the licence on the state register and ask which contract you build on. If your site doesn't say, the builder whose site does gets the meeting.

  • The enquiry with nowhere to go

Couples plan extensions after the kids are in bed. With no enquiry form on your site, they send their plans to a builder who has one.

What's included

Finished work, a licence to check, then an enquiry.

That's the order couples choose in, so your site follows it.

Project galleries
Finished builds with before-and-after photos, the suburb and the type of job, so a couple can find an extension like the one they are planning.
Your licence and insurance on show
Your builder's licence or registration number, linked to the state register where there is one, with your insurance worded the way you hold it.
Your contract and how a job runs
A page that names the contract you build on, such as HIA or Master Builders, and sets out your stages, such as base, frame, lock-up, fixing and completion in Victoria.
A page for each kind of project
Extensions, renovations, second storeys, knockdown rebuilds and granny flats, each written for what people search when they plan that project.
An enquiry form that takes plans
Clients attach photos of the house, or plans as a PDF up to 4 MB, or tap to call from any page. Enquiries come to your phone, with spam kept out.
Pages for the areas you build in
Up to 3 areas get a page (8 on Growth), with your Google Business Profile set up for them, for searches like "extension builder Geelong".
Service pages

A page for each kind of project.

Each project type gets a page with its own photos and the steps you take it through.

  • Home extensions
  • Renovations
  • Second storeys
  • Knockdown rebuilds
  • Granny flats
  • Kitchens and bathrooms
  • Decks and outdoor rooms
  • Insurance and repair work
  • Small commercial fit-outs
Licences by state

Licence and insurance, by state.

Above set job values, builders need a licence or registration, and the job needs home warranty insurance. The basics:

Victoria
Domestic building work above a set job value needs a builder registered with the Building and Plumbing Commission and a major domestic building contract. Eligible work above a set value is covered by home warranty insurance, which the Commission now provides for contracts signed from July 2026.
New South Wales
A contractor licence is needed for residential work above a set job value. Above a higher value, Home Building Compensation cover is needed before a deposit is taken or work starts.
Queensland
A QBCC licence is needed above a set job value, and most residential work above that value is covered by the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.

Your site shows your licence or registration number, linked to the register where there is one. We word insurance the way you hold it and never claim cover you don't have.

FAQ

Questions builders ask.

Can the site walk a client through how a project runs?

Yes. A process page sets out your steps, from first meeting and plans to handover, in your words and with your timings.

Can clients send plans with an enquiry?

Yes. The enquiry form takes photos and files, so a client can attach plans or photos of the house.

Can the site show projects in progress?

Yes. Project pages can show stages, from slab to lock-up to handover, which tells a client more about how you build than the finished photos alone.

Can I keep small jobs away from the main enquiry form?

Yes. The enquiry form can ask for the project type and a rough budget range, so you can sort renovations from small repairs before you call back.

Will this line up my next project?

No. We don't promise projects, a Google ranking or income. We make you easy to find and check while a couple is researching, and every enquiry is yours to answer.

Will this fill next week's gap?

Probably not. Clients often research a renovation or an extension for months before they ask for quotes. Your site puts you on that shortlist, so set it up before the gap, not during it.

Am I signed up for a year?

No. It's month to month, without lock-in. Leave halfway through a second-storey job in Geelong and the site still runs to the end of the month you've paid for, and we export your pages and project photos.

Do enquiries go to other builders?

No. An extension enquiry from your Geelong page goes only to you, never to another builder or a quote site. We take no fee per enquiry or per project. Flat monthly price.

Can the site say which contract I use?

Yes. If you build on an HIA or Master Builders contract, the site can say so, along with any membership you hold. We don't add association logos.
